The Papal Chair, symbol of the Italian Chair District production, is back in Turin.
It is the result of the synergy of 50 Friuli artisans that, in occasion of the Holy Shroud in 2010, created, under the auspices of Italian Chair District, the sitting for Pope Benedict XVI.

The Pope Chair, designed by the architect Ivan Vergendo through a competition of ideas, will be seen by 4 million visitors (estimation of the organization committee) from Saturday, April the 18th, open day of the Shroud, until the 24th June. It will be exhibited in a space above the official Bookstore of the event, in the Palace of the Piemonte Region, in Turin.

This year, the Italian Chair District companies Blifase, Domitalia, Fedele Chairs, Linea Fabbrica, Modonutti, Montbel, Piaval are near to the Papal Chair with a selection of their products in exposure over the Bookstore; the furniure also is the protagonists of the VIP rooms of the Royal Palace of Turin, prestigious rooms that will be used as a meeting place for the most important international delegations, which are in visit during the whole period of the Shroud Exhibition.
